My Work…
My paintings always begin with play — splashes of color, wandering marks, scribbled words, and the occasional bit of collage. Each layer becomes part of the story, adding history, texture, and unexpected moments of magic. I follow the process with curiosity, watching and listening as shapes begin to whisper their way forward.
Somewhere in the chaos, a hidden creature or character reveals itself — an eye peeking through, a gesture forming, a personality waiting to be noticed. When that happens, I gently coax it into being, letting the subject take on a life of its own within the painting.
